Fungal infection in betta fish

Infections can occur in any type of fish and this can happen due to couple of reasons. Another common thing that can be easily found and works wonders to keep the infection at bay is unionized sea salt. Spoonful of this salt per five gallons is enough to keep all Betta fish ailments away. Most of the cures for fungal infections for Betta fish contain Malachite green. This ingredient is extremely effective and safe and can be used against crustacean, protozoan and other fish parasites. A drop of Aquarisol for each gallon of water in the fish aquarium is also one of the most effective treatments.

Betta fish fungal infections can affect the normal life of fish and thus care should be taken to protect your beloved fish from it. Regular change of water, well selected mix of fish foods and your proper love and affection are some things which will keep your pet hale and hearty.
